Hi Guys,

Pyro (Sam P) was on the Hastings run yesterday when some douche rode head on into him totalling himself, Sam and both bikes.

Sam is fine and is in Hasting hospital awaiting surgery. I will be going down there later today.

However his bike is at a pound where they are charging him £25.00 a day to store it. I don't surpose any of you are in the Hasting area and have a spare few feet in your garden for his bike for a week or so before he can get it recovered? (Its an X11)

Im afraid I dont have any more infomation on the other bikers condition, though he is in hospital. Bike cops on the scene have witness statements from several bikes and two drivers on scene.

Thanks, Toby

I've seen it happen (I was behind him when they collided) and I want to help.

I should be able to get a lad with a van (and the place for the bike: Either at my place or a small storage space at work) sorted by tomorrow.

If this falls through - my auntie lives in Hastings who wouldnt mind the bike being stored at her place.

If it's shown to be the other party's fault, then the costs will be covered by the insurance.

However, can't hurt to minimise the bill etc Thumbs Up.

Ouch. I didn't see anything too nasty down there yesterday myself, but not good to hear about it! Sad

Hope he recovers soon, and bike sorted too. Also hope he got all details of other rider that caused it! Not nice situation.

GWS Pyro.

Thumbs Up

Was it an overtake gone wrong? Things like this, as well as the heavy po-po presence, makes me glad I missed this years event.
