Q for you, what age is your boy and what KTM is that, i recently bought my son a Kawasaki but not had much time to get him out on it.

This one is a 2005 ktm mini adventure, it's auto no gears. You can adjust the rear shock to make it taller/shorter etc My lads 5, had a pw50 on his 3rd birthday and this on his 5th Very Happy
