Hi,

So I'll be descriptive as best I can here, I recently got a suzuki marauder 125 k something ( it's worn off badly) to repair and ride... Or so I thought.

Turned out the forks were damaged beyond repair so I bought new ones off ebay, downside Is 3 months later (now) I come to fit them and the brake/odometer are reversed from my old forks ( which I left out and got stolen, my laziness was indeed rewarded).

So now I realise although I can reverse them and get a new brake line to fit I am left thinking will this cause the odometer to run backwards? Obviously if it does I may be in trouble.... Any help or suggestions would be welcome, thank you for reading

If the new forks are the correct ones for your bike, everything should work fine when you put it all back together according to the manual.

It could be that it was in fact the old forks that were reversed - in which case you wouldn't have noticed the odometer running backwards if you hadn't ridden it!
