Hi everyone
Just finished my first year back on a bike, after a 35 year break. My new toy is a 03 Yamaha R6, Now that it's winter I've changed a slipping clutch (no wear just plates in the wrong order), chain & sprockets, LEDS & HIDS. Custom seat for my old buns. Now my dilemma, when changing the fork oil, dust & oil seals, small leak, should I change the bushes as well? I can get the seals for £16 or everything for £50. I would like to get every thing ready before I strip them down & should I stick with the standard weight oil?

I changed a leaky fork seal in the summer. But since the forks were coming out, I did all the seals and bushes and even did the head bearings too. All in - about 100 quid ish IIRC but it means the front end can stay together for longer since everything has been renewed.

Thanks lads I suppose that doing everything in one go is better, faster cheaper than doing everything one at a time and loosing riding time.
