Ok, so I'm not a new rider, but didn't think anywhere better to post this. I was really active on BCF many moons ago (been registered for 12 years, inactive for last 8 or so). Moderated the Scottish forum for a while too.

Anyhow, decided it had been too long and so taken interest in getting back on 2 wheels. So, fast forward a few weeks, and I'm picking up a 1999 Firestorm on Friday night (pics to follow). Really super excited, but a bit nervous too as it's been quite a few years.

My last bike was a 2001 GSX-R 750, so I'm not a stranger to powerful machines. Just going to take a bit of time to get back into it.

Looking forward to the VTR though, the sound is incredible!

While we were gone people forgot the '98 R1 and something called nobcat became a thing. Smile

I have often tried to resurrect the 98R1 on here. It has no meaning now-a-days.

And some of them call themselves 'bikers'. Rolling Eyes
