Replaced the crap bulb in my bandit tonight to an Osram Nightbreaker ultra magic max powa etc etc.....

I have not adjusted anything else, but noticed on my ride home the light is now shining on signs an all that shiz, as in the spread from the bulb is all over the show?

I thought bulbs only fitted one way - and it locked in place with the wire thing

there is a screw adjuster in the light housing but i thought that was for swing (left -> right?)

Am i just being a potatoe?

They usually only fit one way, but can be forced quite easily into othe orientations...

Rare but I've seen one - the little dip shield inside the bulb was all spastic Wink

Hi

Depends on the bulb. Twin filament bulds (ie, both dip and main beam) tend to seat very easily and difficult to get it wrong. The H1 bulbs are incredibly easy to not seat correctly, as the number of cars around with one hideously dazzling bulb is testament to.

All the best

Katy

I have seen it several times where an H4 bulb isn't seated correctly there is no beam pattern just scattered bits
So sounds like to me that the bulb isn't seated correctly
