Since OP is too lazy to actually say what it's about, I've copypasted for people who can't be arsed clicking another pointless e-petition.
A law passed to require Police forces to pursue suspects with or without helmets
There is a massive problem of motorbikes being stolen and used to terrorise innocent members of the public. Our roads and parks have become like racetracks and the police are not allowed to give chase in case the rider hurts themselves a ridiculous policy that does nothing but protect the criminal.
My oppinion, other than that e-petitions have achieved nothing more than rob Westminster Palace of something to light the fires with. Is that this proposal is too focused and not something that warrants legislation.
They generally don't bother their arse persuing stolen motorcycles, helmet or no. That is a policy that would require changing but doesn't require legislation. All it takes is an instruction from the home office that this is a priority.
I'm generally against new legislation of any sort. Most of what they are trying to do is spurious and already covered by existing laws. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Solution: Don't live in Manchester.
The only online petition worth signing would be one requesting online petitions to be banned. |
