Ring the thieves in advance, book an appointment for them to nick your TV, then you can arrange for the insurance chap to float down the flooded street on a raft at the appropriate time and watch the robbery take place.

A few years ago, one of my businesses was devastated by an escape of water from a neighbouring property.
I sought and received permission from the loss adjusters to dispose of the water-sodden goods. After photographing everything, 10's of thousands of pounds worth of stuff, I placed it all outside the property.
Overnight, everything was spirited away by the local Pikey/Pakistani community and not a single shit was given by me. Everything was covered by my insurance co. They even paid me to dispose of the stuff Laughing

In fairness before November I hadn't posted since June, It's fair to say I've been BCF dabbling.
It's not like I was capable of staying away entirely.
I had to check in and make sure Rog hadnt gone mad with his "Admin" powers or see if BodyGuard had quadraspazzed himself yet.
