Good or bad?

I love them, I used to call it (salmon) "crunchybone fish" when I was a kid,

Yeahhhhhh, it's one of those "weird but I like it" kind of things.
I actually dislike fish skin (any fish skin, not just salmon) more than I dislike tinned salmon crunchybone.

I eat quite a lot of it.
I like red salmon better than pink.
But the pink is okay for spaghetti sauce.

I discovered tinned sardines lately because they were the cheapest tinned fish going.

Full spinal columns in there, the first time I just mashed it into some pasta and ate it. After that I would pick the fish apart and pull the little spines out.

Then I discovered Aldi had tinned tuna at a fab Aldi price.

Equilibrium restored. Very Happy

One cannot beat a tin of sardines (in tomato) mashed between overly Lurpaked toasted Out-Siders.

I think I'm a bit of a pikey cos I always get the tinned fish in oil (assuming the same price as in brine - it usually is) as I consider the oil "free" calories....

I only ever ate it when I went to my Gran's. it was considered posh food (she mixed it with salad cream). The crunchy bits never bothered me.

Slightly off topic but I once crunched on a massive chunk of cow's tooth in a tin of corned beef. That put me off corned beef for years.

Shouldn't it be a head getting some cat on this forum?

We caught well over a hundred in australia with just one throw of a cast net. We chucked loads back alive, and kept the others for the cat and for fishing bait. Bigger fish liked to nom them, but they didn''t stay on the hook very well

All the strayans called them "minnows".....

Tbf their fish names are a clusterfuck over there. They use the same ones as ours, like "whiting" or "bream" to mean completely different fish. Have some funny names too like "Mangrove Jack"

Never really understood cat food. It comes in flavours like Tuna, salmon and beef.

Nah.. Go-Cat seems to stay down better than Toad, Shrew, Wren or Mouse.
Not sure what exactly, as all that is visibly identifiable is a wee set of legs and claws/paws whenever it is yakked-up on the carpet.
I think our cat is quite 'Moderne' so is probably SAI (Small Animal Intolerant) but she does relish the stalk, chase and capture.
