Seen a kmx quite complete no v5 and its a field bike.
Haven't seen the bike yet as I want to get a few opinions first.
Assume the bike has a frame number which I can id off.
Ideally would like to put it back to road spec and get a v5.And get a q plate?
Anyone with any experience on these matters? don't want to buy something stolen Shocked

There is no such class as "Field Bike" there is only a " Nicked bike that is driven around a field" class.

Yes, the VIN will have been knocked off by a rock in the field. Whistle

Not always, if it has a VIN still I can check it for £20 which will tell you if it is UK registered, stolen, written off, on finance etc

I have been quite successful buying "field bikes" cheap and returning them to the road recently but obviously check before you buy!
