First DAS lesson this morning. Expecting to have to prove myself on a tiddler first but they let me get straight on an er6n and straight out onto the road with it.

Why on earth I did not do this sooner is beyond me. Rolling Eyes

I did not entirely believe the usual line about them being easier to ride and figured that the extra power would be difficult to handle. Yeah, so I was wrong.

Looking forward to next lesson.

The best feeling is escaping the tiddler for the first time and being able to ride something with sufficient power, brakes etc.

Prove beneficial doing it in this weather when it comes to upgrading or getting your own bike.

Enjoy / post what bike you get when you pass. Thumbs Up

I knew a guy a while ago that almost gave up biking altogether because he didn't feel safe on a 125, until he jumped on a big bike, enjoy it Thumbs Up
What are you learning on?

Yeah, er6. Seems decent enough, though it's an older one and I don't have much to compare it to. I think I prefer something with a slightly less sporty, high-ish foot position, but it's early days and possibly just because it's pretty different to what I am used to.

I think I misunderstood at first when they asked me how I felt about going on the bigger bikes. Like they were just confirming I was ok with it a bit later on. Then they gave me the key. The feeling of "oh shit, what did I agree to", lasted approximately until we started moving.
