So i bought my first big bike today.. 2002 CBR600FS in yellow/blue max biaggi moto gp paint

Was originally going to get a gsxr600 but after test riding one in november i decided against it, saving that for a year or 2's time!

So was set on the cbr600f, then i saw the cbr600fs with split rear seat which was preferential for me but there arent many of them about.

Then i spotted this one i've bought, ive never seen one in this colour scheme, usually red/black.. i checked hpi and no record of colour change so appears factory standard.

Anyway.. the bikes got 32k miles, pirelli angel st tyres, a good service record, led indicator upgrades, scorpion stainless system as well as stainless downpipes, shorty levers, tail tidy, rear hugger and goodridge brake hoses..

it was such a bargain even if i dont ride it regularly for the next 2 months im not bothered.

been out on it for an hour earlier, obviously didnt go mad.. new bike, not ideal road conditions and lack of riding, so was very sensible but i loved it, feels a very solid bike although still very agile!

Dark now and its tucked in for the night under a cover so will add photos tomorrow.. glad to finally be a big bike owner! great feeling!!

Will await pictures before compulsory chain slack, subframe twisted comments Wink

Congrats on your new love affair. Does wife/GF know she is the second most popular ride in your life at the moment? Thumbs Up

LED indicators.. i don't know, not something i'd have spent money on but they work at the moment and look a damn sight better than the awful fist sized orange ones that would have been standard on a bike of this age.

Those fist sized orange oranges seem a damn site easier to see when I'm in the cage though

While my bike was under warranty I asked god only knows how many times for my indicators to be replaced, new relay, etc etc, I think they gave up in the end and so did I, currently playing a guessing game of what side wants to flash the fastest today. I'll wait until they completely stop working before replacing. x2 LED indicators can be had for less than x1 standard bulb indicator, probably says a lot about how cheap they are to make and their quality (or rather lack of).

A job to add to the post winter list. Very Happy

Fuck sake I wish I never mentioned the indicators..

Heres a pic of the bike attached anyway, just been out on it now, got the tyre pressures right and played about with the different settings on the adjustable levers..

rain stopped play though.. stroll on summer, or at least a sustained period of dry weather with temperatures over 5 degrees!
