Off to Roscoff in July, I have 5 days before the return again from Roscoff . Anyone recommend were to visit in that 5 days, don't want to cover any more than 200 miles per day. (I have done the Normandy area). Thanks in advance.

My wife and I spent 5 days just riding around Brittany wit no particular plan. Some great places to visit and see. Roscoff is a great little town. All depends on what you want out of your trip.

Hi, lived in Brittany now for 13 years, out and about at every opportunity and barely scraped the surface of this beautiful county....

Turn right after leaving Roscoff and follow the small coastal roads right through to Brest, then, still on the coast roads head down to lorient and Vannes via all the little ports and inlets.......fantastic scenery, cafes, and restaurants on route.....the return trip via Pontivy, mur de Bretagne, Huelgoat then the great D769 bikers road to Morlaix, then on to Roscoff via Sain Pol de Leon to the ferry....if you're not camping then no need to book, plenty of B&B and small cheap hotels available....
If you want any further help, P.M. me.....

Yeah 1+ for the coast road to Brest (cote de legends) . After Brest seek out the Pont de Terenez, takes you out on to the Crozon Peninsular, fantastic views from Menez-Hom. Locronan, Quimper, Standing stones at Carnac, Concarneau, Aurays old port, Vannes, Rochefort-en-Terre all worth a visit. Try staying off the N165 as much as you can and you will be well rewarded with some great riding.

Certainty tell you've been there and done it Devonboy.... All those places you mentioned are great.. Brittany is like touring Cornwall, with better weather and without the traffic.......
If Ammoman makes contact, I can probably tie up with him for a day and show him around our local area (Quimper)...local knowledge and all that....... Wink
