That must be close on the weight of a mini FFS.

FFS versus rest of the world was pathetic

it's like the dregs of DVD extras

I wonder if there really was "foul, foul, foul play" or if it was a bit of a put on to reset the score and make it look a bit more interesting?

Absolute damp squid of a show, very little of interested happened, a couple of LOL's was about it.

Should've condensed the last two specials into one show.

Yeah the whole thing was a farce, why pretend that's the best the rest of the world has to offer, it's not like we don't have the Internet to see for ourselves!

The UK bots weren't exactly the pick of the bunch either. OK Eruption fair play, but the rest were either not as good as their peers (Concussion never shone compared to other spinners) or self confessed end of the liners, Thor/Apollo.

I'd love to see similar heats across the world and then a world championship with maybe the top two from each country or something, but they'd need to tie all the rules up. Probably under one body.

All gets a bit political and expensive and serious for something that is really a bit of fun nerdy hobby telly.

Pretty much, the UK team knew the were going to destroy them. The fact they got Mr Greenpeace back over and all his competitors were saying pffft don't worry about him tells you all you need to know.

They should have made one ROTW team out of actual working robots, although it still would have been a mismatch. The grand final was a much better way to end the series.

I just watch it day after, online, and skip to the fights. Takes 15 mins tops to watch and if it's no good, no harm done. The rest of the show is trying far too hard to be American for all the wrong reasons.

Someone make a petition ... BRING BACK SGT BASH!

Or just take off the house robot training wheels.
The house robots are so sedated in dealing damage these last two season, they are basically acting like the Ref Bot or becoming accidental hazards Thumbs Down
How many times has Shunt's axe broken now?

To be fair, i would love to see a House Robots Vs ROW (or just UK actually)

With some sort of fight to the death finale against Sir Killalot, would be a good excuse to retire the existing House Robots and dream up some new ones

Not enough diversity for them? Very Happy Shame, although the Beeb cancel or f**k up everything else I like (F1, Dr Who, old Top Gear) so I'm not surprised.

It was hideously white. Also, tempting kids into engineering, and telling them that reals > feels, and they're not all winners for taking part = very bad.

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread on this or not, but since it sort of ties in with Robot Wars, has anyone seen any of that new show on Sky One, Carnage

It's like Robot Wars, but full scale, with squishy human operators, all set in a faux Mad Max stylee arena

It's not too bad, the first episode was ok (which i watched in full) but the 2nd episode i FF'd most of the guff to get to the action, i think it's got potential, and they don't seem too hung up on Elf'n'safety (already been a broken arm)

Emergency ideas:
Rainbow robot?
Presenter could be a left handed vegan from an ethnic background? Robots driven by committee?

Now, to get the show on a proper telly channel:
Snackbar versus snackbar, booby trapped robots.
Arena door release button, 'rogue robots melee' could get bloody.
Gigantic 500kg class.
