Maybe it was an Aids test rather than a bike test ?

In which case, ANY bike would be his dream bike, given that he was thinking he'd be dead from nob-rot by now ......

My money's on it being either a GSXR 600 or KTM supermoto thing ...

If he hadn't mentioned a 'dream bike' then it wouldn't be an issue. Cool

I did my first CBT with the same school, they were actually pretty good and managed to get eight people riding with two instructors by relaying two at a time for the road section. Went from having never touched a bike to feeling fully confident on the road in one session.
However, it was October and it was freezing. Turned up in a hoody style thin jacket and regretted it. I went for a Jimmy Riddle before I left and there was just foreskin left Crying or Very sad

I've been away for a few days, sorry guys didn't mean for the thread to be vague.

I've bought myself a HD Sportster Iron 883, I know the cruisers aren't particularly popular around here but it's the perfect bike for me.

I'll probably look to get a quicker bike in the future, do any of you have some good recommendations?

I like the 883, I just really don't know what I'd do with one tho.. Not the best winter hack tbh, lazy summer days tho maybe, I'd like I bit more bang for me Buck tho Thumbs Up triumph rocket / thunderbird if I where to enter that class..

Funny thing is, if I'd have chosen a bike pre test I'd have said any of the above... Since found a love for leaning speed and bizzarly in4's.. Shocked

Meh. Don't really like Harleys

But I do like SethWhite. He came in for a bit of stick on this thread, but came back without flouncing. Kudos. And welcome to BCF. Thumbs Up

I'm loving the Iron at the moment, it's a little chilly with no fairing on the front, I'd become accustomed to the diversion which i learned on as it seemed to give a little more wind protection.

Aside from that it's a smooth ride and seems to handle really well.

Arry I've read the forum for a few months and got the impression cruisers weren't the popular choice around here, I may have just gotten the wrong impression, my mistake.

Are the Kawasaki Ninja's a good bike? I've always liked the color scheme but have no idea to the actual performance of the bike.

Thanks for the welcome guys, i'm sure all your advice will prove invaluable in times to come.
