Winding my way through traffic this morning on the bike, overtaking everything, that is right until I got blocked behind a left hand drive car with an NL sticker on the back.

I patiently waited, for what seemed like ages, as lanes one and two were busy, but it was clear after a few miles this oblivious idiot from Holland wasn't going to pull over into the left lane to let anyone pass.



I'm ashamed to say I flashed my lights, and banged on the right indicator hoping he would realise that we normally drive in lane one in this country.

Eventually he got the message and I overtook him at bang on 70mph.



Next thing I know some copper comes flying up behind, red face pointing for me to pull over, blues flashing.

I pulled over, calmly took off my helmet.



Me: Hello officer, I'm fairly sure I wasn't speeding.



Copper: I don't give a f**k about your speed, it's due care and attention sonny!



Me (confused): What for?!



Copper: Everybody knows, you only ever pass the Dutchie on the left hand side.
