Very late with a late and I'm not sure how I managed to miss this, but famed racer and bike builder Colin Seeley shuffled off last month.
Older readers will remember specials he built for Honda, including a limited run of Phil Read replicas, but for many years Seeley built some of the best bespoke racing frames on the planet. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Raphaƫl Coleman, aged 25 while out jogging.
No, nor did I, but he was in 'Nanny McPhee' apparently . ____________________ KC100->CB100N->CB250RS--------->DL650AL2->R1200RS->R1250RS |

On the Caroline Flack thing - She was due in court for assaulting her boyfriend with a lamp.
Interestingly the Boyfriend wanted to drop the charges against her, but there was a court order saying she can't go near him. The attack apparently happened after the police arrived.
Yesterday her management company released a statement blaming the CPS for pressing ahead with a 'show trial' and for putting pressure on a vulnerable young woman.
In my view? Management company... not cool. It seems logical that the Police must have witnessed her attacking BF with a lamp, and that'll be why the BF can't withdraw his statement and have the charges dropped. Are the CPS supposed to drop an assault charge just because she's famous and on the telly? I have no doubt she'd have gotten away with a slap on the wrist anyway, and he'd probably have ended up back in her flat to be hit with more household objects, but without the police present.
I felt sorry for the woman and suicide is an awful thing, but her management company are extraordinarily reprehensible for releasing that statement. They could just as easily said that she was looking forward to clearing her name in court, but they didn't. They went full bore for the Crown Prosecution Service, as if it's their fault she committed suicide. That's a hideous awful thing to imply, and kind of misunderstands the nature of suicidal thoughts and suicidal people.
I can't believe they did that, and it wasn't just the YTS boy that did it, it was obviously a well prepared statement. The woman is now dead, why go for the CPS in the wake of that? Seems nuts. I hope other 'celebrities' who use that company now just wholesale leave and go elswhere. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F
