Very late with a late and I'm not sure how I managed to miss this, but famed racer and bike builder Colin Seeley shuffled off last month.

Older readers will remember specials he built for Honda, including a limited run of Phil Read replicas, but for many years Seeley built some of the best bespoke racing frames on the planet.

Following the sad death of Caroline Flack, Love Island now officially has a higher mortality rate than the CoronaVirus.

Certainly an OD or suicide.

What a waste, I'd have risked her temper for a few bed games.

On the Caroline Flack thing - She was due in court for assaulting her boyfriend with a lamp.

Interestingly the Boyfriend wanted to drop the charges against her, but there was a court order saying she can't go near him. The attack apparently happened after the police arrived.

Yesterday her management company released a statement blaming the CPS for pressing ahead with a 'show trial' and for putting pressure on a vulnerable young woman.

In my view? Management company... not cool. It seems logical that the Police must have witnessed her attacking BF with a lamp, and that'll be why the BF can't withdraw his statement and have the charges dropped. Are the CPS supposed to drop an assault charge just because she's famous and on the telly? I have no doubt she'd have gotten away with a slap on the wrist anyway, and he'd probably have ended up back in her flat to be hit with more household objects, but without the police present.

I felt sorry for the woman and suicide is an awful thing, but her management company are extraordinarily reprehensible for releasing that statement. They could just as easily said that she was looking forward to clearing her name in court, but they didn't. They went full bore for the Crown Prosecution Service, as if it's their fault she committed suicide. That's a hideous awful thing to imply, and kind of misunderstands the nature of suicidal thoughts and suicidal people.

I can't believe they did that, and it wasn't just the YTS boy that did it, it was obviously a well prepared statement. The woman is now dead, why go for the CPS in the wake of that? Seems nuts. I hope other 'celebrities' who use that company now just wholesale leave and go elswhere.

I'm surprised it's such a big story but it's one of the media's own brigade so they'll be fascinated even if we aren't. The family lawyer has declared it to be suicide so they're blaming everybody else but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be an accidental OD.

My understanding was that she'd read messages on his phone from another woman, gone ape-shit, and while he was still asleep had laid into him with the bedside lamp. There were photos online of the bedroom looking like a slaughterhouse. Contrary to popular belief, in the UK a prosecution for assault is not simply the result of whether the victim wants it to happen or not. If the police believe a crime has been committed they can and will just go ahead and prosecute regardless, as apparently happened here. All very sad, anyway.

Why the FUCK would the boyfriend put up with that shit.
Bollocks to that.

I know there are plenty of reasons why someone might stay with someone rich and famous, but not for that sort of aggro ... and now he's also stuck with the ensuing media circus that will surround the event of her death, regardless of how it was caused.

Fuck that.

I don't even know who she is but if he was a mate of mine who lived in that situation, I would still say to him "You should just LEAVE her before it all gets out of hand".

If only he'd had the nerve to walk out on her before now, his life would be SO much more peaceful. Now he's likely to get dragged into a worse shitstorm than he could ever have believed possible before she died.

That used to be how they stopped people doing "bare knuckle fights" for money (each being guilty oh assaulting the other). I don't know if it still is.
