I love how someone dies and we're dissecting which relative we'd comfort.

Shame on you BCF, a thread page devoted to the bloke who filled Tinky-Winky boots and not a peep about Hugh Masekela - and he could blow his own horn...

I am quite annoyed with Hugh Masekela, having the temerity to die in the very same week that I finally got round to renting a trumpet and achieving embouchure.

But also quite sad.

That wasn't really my era, so I don't give a shit.
Now if it was Oscar the Grouch, Ernie, Bert, the Count, or the Cookie Monster ... THEN I would be sad.

Mark E Smith, The Fall, 60.

HT mentioned his passing elsewhere here. Smith was a marry old bugger. I went to The Fall gig and he had a paddy and refused to go on stage. I had to leave to get the last train so never saw them. Apparently he eventually did go on stage and gave a shortened set because noise laws.

Edit: I did forgive him because at least I got to see the support act, Dr John Cooper Clarke Cool

No real talent just the 'cool emperors new clothes following'. Needs to be quickly joined by Billy Bragg and Morrissey who's managed to remain dreary for three decades.

Plenty of talent, and thankfully nothing like either of the other 2 you've mentioned

I disagree. The Fall in the 'Brix' era were a proper band. Then again I also like Billy Bragg, John Ottway, John Cooper-Clark etc, but that is my generation...

Generation should have little to do with it.

Looks quite easy.

(They always give you one of those Dbl. ended Allen/Hex wrench things in the pack too.)

I lay out all the panels and the fittings in little groups 'in order of assembly' to make it easy to assemble.
