I was only responding to previous posts - there are certain records that elevate anyone connected to them to god like status - the singer of 'Papa' would be one of those

Well, if you were run over by a bus, it might seem quite natural if you died Laughing

Wife lost her mum to cancer at 52. Still counts as a natural cause IMO.

True, but I don't remember the last time a celeb cancer death was described as natural causes. I don't reckon she was run over by a bus either (road deaths are not exactly natural in nature)
She did look bloody rough in the recent photo where she's dressed in that burgundy frock...

Heart attack is "natural".
My sister turned 53 last month, only a week before she died of a heart attack.

Natural but none the less still a shock when it happens Sad

Sorry to hear that.
I assumed that is what did for Miss Chambers.

A timely reminder to all you BCF adrenaline junkies to get your blood pressure regularly checked, I can tell you that by the time you're on a hefty dose of beta blockers and amlodipine you know that you're living on the edge....

I thought natural causes was when you die and there's no direct cause: https://metro.co.uk/2018/02/25/emma-chambers-cause-death-suspected-heart-attack-7340361/

'The actress died suddenly at the age of 53, originally claimed to have been ‘natural causes’. Jon Plowman, exec producer for the Vicar Of Dibley, has now said she may have died from a heart attack.'

Maybe there was something else going on they'd rather keep quiet, her career did seem to tail off somewhat.

Nah, 'natural causes' includes any disease or condition; its when there's been no external factor involved like physical injury, poison etc

David Ogden Stiers (75) who played Major Charles Emerson Winchester III in M*A*S*H

I remember his first appearances following on from the totally annoying character Frank Burns who was the first "foil" to Hawkeye's louche anarchistic ways.

Frank was sooooo annoying that it was hard to imagine who would fill the space when he left. However Charles turned out eventually, to be the perfect opposite to Hawkeye's and BJ's characters. Posh, supercilious and vulnerable.

He was a pretty top guy in real life too apparently.

Sir Roger Bannister of four minute mile fame.

Long before drugs became mainstream in athletics, he was running a mile faster than the average traffic can flow in a town centre.
