I had never heard of this edjit before she topped her spoiled self.

She designed panniers I think.

Me neither, the missus knew who she was, apparently we're not American women...

I thought this was supposed to be a thread about celebrities.... I keep checking to see who's died and this year, (with the exception of a few people), I'm left scratching my head wondering who the fuck most of them are and why they are even in this thread Rolling Eyes

Andym mate, if you weren't stoned from one BCF BBQ to the next BCF BBQ you would know more of them. Smile

Depends on your definition of celebrity.

Because I know every BCF thread gets derailed, sidetracked or otherwise goes totally OT, there was no point in defining anything at the beginning, so it's turned out to be what I intended, somebody who's passing is worth a mention, because of some sort of fame.

For example, Jerry Maren died earlier; not somebody I would expect the vast majority of people to know and he wasn't much of a celebrity even at the height (or not Laughing ) of his fame, but he was the last surviving Munchkin from the most iconic film version of the Wizard of Oz, so I would say he's worth a mention in dispatches.

That makes him worthy of being mentioned in this thread.

Kate Spade? No chance, this isn't mumsnet!! I mean okay, her final design was a low hanging dress that was slightly tight around the neck but other than that, BCF isn't interested.

One of my colleagues at work is from Saff Afrika.
I linked the Zulu film to him a few weeks ago. He liked it. Smile

When Sir Nigel is PM, Zulu will be played on constant loop on huge screens in every airport, ferry terminal and benefits office across this green and pleasant land.

Anthony Bourdain just topped himself.
Maybe not a huge name in the UK, basically the travel foodie American version of Gordon Ramsay. If you've not seen his stuff it's well worth a gander if they ever show it across the pond.
Gutted. RIP

I guess if you take enough pills and relax once you've tied yourself up there...
Never really thought about the mechanics or possibility of hanging from a doorknob before.

Talking of knobs, I'd infer a rope on one, throw it over the door, and hang yourself from the other side.
