Of course it will be too soon for many that knew him.. <<<read that in a northern sarcastic voice.

It'll be too soon for loadsa fans.
A laugh, a joke is welcomed by others...often at funerals.

Actually genuinely gutted by this.

Fat of the land changed me and my taste in music forever, I can't say I am a die hard fan but l seriously enjoyed their stuff (though his solo album was forgettable)
He seemed massively overjoyed to be at the TT when he was interviewed a couple of years back and through the years have seen him turn up in various bike magazines.

Thanks for the music and thank you for prompting my mother to write to the BBC and complain about the video for Firestarter. Just for that you deserve a medal.

Here's to you Keith.

I think he would have probably found it funny. I don't think he was without a sense of humour.

I think Keith was a great man, a great frontman, yet I can't help but think about the tragedy is that Liam (who basically IS The Prodigy) will struggle to get the same live show atmosphere without Keith. Liam's genius knows no bounds, and Keith was the one who helped put it out there.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

With you on that, although it was Experience that blew me away. I'm a lifelong fan, I heard it when just back from living in the US for a few years, and it was radical.I had the album art from Music for the Jilted Generation tattooed on me.

Made me realise it wasn't just me that liked Electronic, Metal, Rock, Hip-hop all at the same time, and it could be fused well, if you had the spark that Howlett has. Seeing Keith without the long hair really threw me when Fat of the Land came out. That's when he really became the frontman.

He was fairly handy on a bike. Bloke was living the dream. Just goes to show you never know what's happening in someones head.

*Thumbs through the Essex property pages....* Portfolio liquidation alert.
Unknown to many but Mr Flint owned 48 properties in and around Essex. One of my best mates lived in ine of them.

Kin ell I didn't expect Keith to go - as has been said, people suffer in silence and we just don't know.
Although I didn't like their music, I do recognise the influence it had and the huge army of followers they gained.
A sad loss.

Conversely, there are some people who go on so much that you actually want them to end it all.

I did not know this. Shocked. She was witty, clever and had an iconic look. Too young.

Well if he was still living out in the middle of nowhere, with his dog and cello, maybe no one noticed at first . .
