Howdy,

Thought I would say hello - been a member of another forum, which I'd kind of drifted away from, finally popped by it a couple of days ago to find it was gone Rolling Eyes

Read a few posts here and you lot seem ok, thought I'd join and play for a bit...

Anyways, been riding for 4 years on an Er6f now finally convinced the Mrs I *need* a new one - so Z1000SX it is, don't know why just like Kwaks..

Only thing stopping me is the colour - blue, green or black?

Welcome in

For me it'd be green but all 3 colours are nice, so it's not a bad decision to have to make!

The last Kawasaki I saw in black (picture below), I'd say green.

Do they still make them in orange? That looked quite nice back in the '06 or so on a Z750/1000. Thumbs Up

But, I'd say it must be green. Green for a liquid cooled motorcycle and red for a air cooled motorcycle. Razz

EDIT: If you buy a used one, changing the colour is not expensive at all. Even on budget, the quality of the paint job can be comparable to the factory painted motorcycle.

When you see them in the flesh the green is definitely the best colour.

Only relevant if you are buying a brand spanking new one though. Other than that I would go on condition/mileage/history and colour would be further down the list.
