Hi so I've been riding for a while now (dirtbikes) but have just got my first road bike, its a yamaha mt125. However as soon as my age permits i will be moving up to bigger bikes (hopefully :p). Im now looking into a motorbike jacket and have always had the dream of a leather one. what do you guys think of this in my situation? is it sensible move or am i gunna look like a t**t?

Get it. It will protect you, and you'll be able to use it on bigger bikes too.

Don't see any problem with that jacket.

For a while I wore a Yamaha 'R1' leather jacket (that my brother-in-law gave me) on my AJS 125. And yes, I looked like a twat. Very Happy

I bought the same jacket and trousers recently. Not had an off, but seem good for now.

That bike will do a real 70mph+, I'd have no hesitation in dressing for the off.

Are you sure you want a perforated leather jacket though? The weather may be unseasonably warm, but it is still January.
