hi all

im trying to wire up a new switch gear and just getting a little lost with it not sure on the BAT3 and BAT4 so was wondering if anyone could help

here are the pics im just having trouble with the headlight
mine is the except u type one

Was this switch sold as suitable for your bike? It looks like the new switch expects only one live line in, whereas the Hornet has three, coming from different fuses. Bat2 comes from the ignition fuse, bat3 comes from the general lights fuse, and bat4 comes from the headlight fuse. If you wanted to make it work you it looks to me as though you'd have to rewire a whole lot of the loom and maybe change the three 10A fuses for one 30A, which would be a bad idea.
