Hi guys, I have a hyper flashing indicator issue. I replaced the relay with an electronic one, which is supposed to flash at a constant rate regardless of the load. It appeared to have solved the issue (indicators flashed at correct rate after I installed it), however when I went out on the bike on Saturday the indicators were back to flashing too quickly again. How's that possible?

Indicators are not LED, but are aftermarket mini ones. 12v 21w same spec as stock bulbs.

Bike is a Honda Firestorm.

Help! MOT looming...

If your relay is designed to work with LEDs then it may just have given up under the load of incandescents and the Magic Smoke has escaped.

Why not just fit one rated for your bulb wattages?

How fast are they actually flashing?

You're allowed up to 120 flashes a minute which when you look at it looks frantic Laughing

My CG flashes just below 120 at idle and a little more when revved. It passed an M.O.T.

I agree with roger, if the bulbs are the same as stock then a stock relay is what you need, keep it simple!
