Misfires at idle and wont rev up?

Bike died on me 2 weeks ago had a look at the stator and two wires were worn through and touching the magneto, fixed them but it sounds like its misfiring on idle now and then and when you rev it up it stutters and wont red line.

Changed the plug, cap, lead, fuel, cleaned the carb and it still does it.

When you ride it, it rides good but it wont red line it just stutters and when you come to a stop you have to keep the revs up else it will bog and die then you have to wait a few minutes before it will start again and even then it bogs and stutters and runs rough.

Bike = 2008 derbi senda 50.

Any suggestions on what to check next?

Sort the fuel delivery out, fuel tap/filter, air filter, carb and intake pipe.

I would check the connection to wires from stator. Sounds like electrical fault to me.
Check also that stator has not rotated on crankshaft. Woodruff key may be worn, putting timing out.
