Only 226 miles on the new bike so far. There's just not enough power under 7500 revs on a 600! It handles like a dream though.

Three weeks until silverstone. I'd better start putting some miles on.

Definitely, you'll want an engine like that loosened up for Silverstone. Very Happy

I know there are various opinions on this subject. I'm not that strict when it comes to rev limits for running-in, just a lot more considerate than I would normally be.

Yes, and anyone telling you otherwise is probably hoping to sell you another bike in a couple of years when this one is trashed from not have been well treated.
