Dear community,

It seems a nightmare to replace front wheel, prices are superbly exaggerated. I live in London, where would be my best chance to get a replacement, I don't mind second hand.

Does it have to be a Honda model wheel specifically?

Regards

Why do you need to replace the wheel?

It's buckled after a collision. Bike steering wobbles when.driving above 30mph

Can't seem to find anything local on eBay,but not sure if I can.use other wheels from other bikes just as easy?

Theoretically yes ... as long as the wheel is the same size, the hub is the same size, the brake disc fits ...

Probably easier just to get the right one.

The one Doovy pointed out looks ideal - free delivery too.

For £45 delivered why not buy the correct one?

The wheel on the link has a slight buckle in it, it seems pointless to replace a buckled wheel with another on.

I was looking to find some info seeing as Yahama 125 parts seem interchangable with CG125.

Does anyone have any experience in this? Having seen a YBR125, I couldnt find any physical differences in front wheel from observation, but not sure how it boils down when screwing it on.

No, different spindle sizes/bearing sizes/wheel spacings etc.

Just buy a CG wheel. Simple as.

I've just had a quick look at wheel bearings online ... looks like the axle is a different diameter, as are the outer races of the of the bearing, so you'd probably have to get a custom bearing and/or drill / sleeve the forks. Sounds like a right faff.

[EDIT: paddy beat me to it Smile]

And that's before you've worked out if the brake disc will even come close to matching up with the size and position of the caliper.
