I quite like these. By way of background I have always wanted one, but while I like the look of the sportsters, the rather agricultural looking swingarm put me off them. I know its minor but its the aesthetic of the thing.

I know they are no longer made and prices are high, but what are they like to live with?

cheers

Dunno about the 1200 I quite fancied one of those XRs, tempted by one meself ... but ended up with an 1100 sportster (a rare breed) is quite fun around town.

Low centre of gravity, easy to reverse and to ride (even round London) - but I'm not a fan of the agricultural engine. I might get it out and see if it will start up, soon but only for the summer season.

Wouldn't go far in it... I'm too lazy for the torque on the fuckin thing. Strictly for posing.
