'Sup,

I'm looking for a specific style of motorcycle boots but I wouldn't know what to google. The closest thing I have is an eGhey ad for cheap Chinese trousers with the model wearing the boots I like.

Linky

It's the boots with what seems the top has been folded over. Could anybody help us out?

Cheers

Try to search something like HD, or custom boots. Once you see the description or something similar use that.

It's not a very clear pic, but are you after something similar to WW2 British despatch rider boots? They come up on ebay quite often. They are nearly always black, but here is a brown pair https://r.ebay.com/61hlTo

Ah I've looked at the picture in more detail, and it seems the model has something strapped over his lower shin on the boots. The laces are poking out from the top, so I wonder what that strap is?

The cuff part looks too short for gaiters.

They're not RAF boots. They look a bit like French combat boots, but they're not those either.

If you were trying to describe what type they are, they're high-top combat boots with a cuff. But that's doesn't really help you search for them. With it being a Japanese ad I searched for Japanese combat and para boots but didn't find anything.

Just get some French ones, they look the nuts. https://www.epicmilitaria.com/original-french-army-black-ranger-boots.html

They could of at least applied some polish to them and given them a little buff.

It's nothing sinister.

If you click on an ebay hyperlink in the forum, the forum software reformats them as referral links from bikechaforums.com as if you'd clicked an advert on the forum. Because revenue, it's one of the ways the forum is paid for.

It seems to have made a cockup with that one. Your antivirus probably read it as a redirect. The hyperlink didn't work for me on chromium, I had to click "quote" and copy the link as posted to go to it.

Do you mean the 1950's style that looked like a Wellington boot with the top rolled over so show the white liner?

I like those, but wouldn't fancy my chances of getting them undone again after a freezing cold ride to work.

Those are either literally black rubber dunlop wellies with the tops rolled down or Derri boots. Commonly worn with jeans and white sea socks pulled up over the jeans and showing over the top.

As footwear goes, 100% waterproof and very warm when worn with sea socks.

As crash protection. Rubbish.
