Team WD-40 has suffered a break-in at its Sheffield workshop and a number of bikes have been stolen overnight.

The GR Motosport-run team has reportedly lost two Kawasaki ZX-10Rs which were set to be used by riders Jack Kennedy and Sam Hornsey for the 2016 MCE British Superbike championship, which begins at Silverstone on 8-10 April, and the Kawasaki ZX-6R of Tarran Mackenzie for the British Supersport championship.

The team is asking the bike community to spread the word and says it will offer 'a big reward' regarding any information on getting the bikes returned.

Bastards. Surely BSB-spec track bikes will show up somewhere though..?

Given the race history of these, once fairings are chopped and changed it would be very hard to spot or track these down? Yes they are trick but there's lots of ex race series bikes with trick bits owned privately now

Hopefully they'll try to actually ride the bikes and be found in a burning heap in the middle of a field with their bootlace threaded through their ring piece, having spooned a corner at 180mph.
