Just seen a vemar helmet on the J&S site.

Fibreglass and £80, too good to be true?

Anyone got a Vemar helmet? Any good?

Bought a pair of Vemar bluetooths 18 months ago. Bluetooth failed on both helments within weeks (battery would not charge on one, other just died), contacted customer service, they were great and sent replacement kits. I was not impressed with the robustness of the replacement design but ...

A few months ago, both failed again (different reasons). I ride a lot, wife rides some weekends.

These helmets look great, fit comfortably, but just do not last. I think as a helmet the are "OK" but do NOT buy their bluetooth. Buy aftermarket. If you can afford a better quality helment, avoid these. Also there is something distorting about the internal sun visor. Both my wife and I have noticed this minor issue.

FYI, the FIRST time I had a problem, customer service was great. Second time? Absolutely no response. I assume they are not able to support customers' problems.

The last post was made 10 years, 2 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
