On my Honda MSX 125 ive noticed that when i ride round town between 20mph to 40mph theres hardly any water in my crankcase breather tube

but when i do journeys in the weekend where im on the motorway at wide open throttle for 10 miles for 15 minutes doing between 50mph and 60mph the crankcase breather tube is full of water which ive been told it is condensation as the engine generates a lot heat which thus causes condensation as its an air cooled engine

ive been told if this is not emptied it can cause the oil to go milky which has happened just at the top of the dip stick but 99% of the oil looks fine when i changed it.

Is this normal for me to be emptying the crankcase breather tube this often as its after every high speed ride?

im now at the point where i always have pliers to help me remove the small crankcase breather tube.

If this is one of those things is there no some sort of quick release valve for the tube for quick emptying or a longer breather tube?

The breather tube is only about 1 inch long

bike has done 2400 miles

Does it have filter on the end? Does it connect to anything other than the crankcase?

Sure it isn't just an airbox condensation trap? It this pipe physically connected to the engine in any way or is it just a drain in the bottom of the airbox?

If it is, yes, feel free to fit a bigger one.

If it's filling up that much, why not replace it with a one-way valve like they use in diesel fuel lines so it lets the water out but doesn't draw air in?

It's not a crankcase breather then.

In order to be a crankcase breather it needs to be connected to.....

.... the crankcase...

Does the end that is not in the airbox connect to the crankcase?

At an inch long, size clearly doesn't matter....

Leaving it off works for me. Doesn't seem to affect anything other than maybe some emissions rule breaking
