Switching from Chromium to Firefox and I'm wondering if there's a good add-on for Firefox that compares to Magic Actions.

I want to disable "play next" and enable the old style video loading where you could pause the video and wait for it all to download as well as select the my most preferred resolution.

you needed addons for that?

a) just turn auto play off on the website (top right ish)
b) just pause it and it loads.. does for me anyway
c) quality auto goes to the best depending on net speed. to change this just click settings and quality?

this is all just normal youtube functionality. not sure what you're asking here?

only extension i have for youtube is one that allows me to download vids to mp4 if i want

It's also some of the more minor tweaks that on the whole make my YouTube experience a little more pleasurable.

I had no idea that ChromeActions had a Firefox add on. Mother of all assumptions something named after Chrome wouldn't be available for Firefox.
