Okay, so..
somebody tried stealing my NRG but failed.
I'm not sure if they broke the steering lock or not but when i put my key in it wont turn?
it unlocks the petrol cap so i know i havent messed up the key the night i left it. Any ideas?
I have a spare NRG i could use parts off if thats any easier lol.
Thank you in advance. |

Think you've been down-voted here for it not being in ''workshop'' which is the best place for tech questions.
It's possible they've stuffed a screwdriver in the lock to try and turn it in order to start it and go joyriding or whatever, or simply got disturbed half way through.
Doing so will have knackered it, if you've got spare locks and keys off another bike you can use then why not?
Hopefully you've got a full set of locks so you can change the seat release etc so that everything works off one key.
I know with my petrol cap (kawasaki) that it only uses the first 0.5cm of the key so another kawasaki key will open it so you might not need to swap the filler cap. ____________________ Looking to pass your CBT / Bike tests in Bury Lancashire? try www.focusridertraining.co.uk Would recommend.
