Hipsters everywhere are wetting their pants.

Shame its become a cliche because I really like it actually, and I am certainly not a hipster.

Gah, wasted click. Thought there was something more interesting about the circuit in Hampshire. Like, I dunno, a bend, or something.
Nevermind, as you were.

Looks decent enough, but that's a lot of dollah for a Thai bike. Does it even come with a surfboard mount?

The factory in Thailand is like nothing you would expect, for instance, the welders have to have I think 5 years experience, then they have to train for a month per weld that they do before they can weld the bikes.

Everything is electronically tagged, so they can see who fitted what part at which time.

They each have many colour coded air guns set to a predefined torque and all the design is done in England.

I wouldn't have any issue with a Thai built triumph.

Not really, no. I'd imagine they'd be ostentatiously proud of it.

Fancy a move to Glasgow? We've not had a Triumph dealer for years. Crying or Very sad

Whilst I was training at triumph last, there were a couple from a dealership in Glasgow (cant remember the name, but currently a ducati dealer if that helps) opening a triumph showroom.

Meant to be top secret though (shhh).

Is it not true that this style of bike has become quite associated with hipster types, and is it not a shame that certain styles of bikes become so easily clichéd?

The Thruxton sticker looks a little cheap. Needs a real badge with a better font imo

Fake 'Amal' carbs kill it for me instantly. I wish they would move away from the past.

Owning a Triumph is becoming similar to owning a Harley Davidson....a different breed.

Cat's out of the bag, Ducati Glasgow is indeed now an approved Triumph service outfit and will be opening a capsule sales outfit.

However, I'd prefer to buy from a single marque dealer who aren't treating the bikes as a fling on the side.

Come on Roger, you're intelligent enough to work this one out.

If a standalone Ducati dealer is taking on another franchise, it's because they aren't making enough money out of Ducati - a tenner says they're planning on going full time Triumph in the fullness of time, while hedging their bets for a year or so.
