Suzuki 1984 blue GP100 paint code

I am trying to find the original paint code for a UK 1984 blue Suzuki GP100 which a friend is currently restoring. I have been searching on the web but have not found it yet. I would greatly appreciate any help in finding the paint code?

Do you have a pic of the bike or one the same colour? Has your mate had a good look for any small stickers with the detaisl on? Either under the seat on the frame, under the tank on th frame or on the underside of the tank.

If it is on a sticker, it should be a three character code, something like AD8 for eg.

Had a look for stickers but it was all rusty under the seat. Frame has been shot blasted and powder coated now. There was a sticker in very poor unreadable condition on the frame before. I have attached a photo of a bike from same year and same colour.

I suspect the bike was made under licence elsewhere than Japan, could make it difficult to find the code but I don't know that for sure. I was hoping it was a different blue TBH Rolling Eyes

I'll have another look........someone else may know in the mean time.

Reliable bikes IIRC...and while they were not regarded as fast comapred to some of the 125's around at the time, compared to some of the restricted 125's to follow, they're no slouch. What's the top speed? about 75? Too fast for the suspension probably Very Happy

Not sure it will ever become a classic in the usual sense of the word.......but stranger things have happened.
