I am in the process of getting my suzuki dry 250 road registered. so far i have the dating letter from suzuki and have had the mot done and passed. The v55 form from the dvl a arrived today but i don't know 90% of the information to write on the form, do i need to fill the whole form out? does it need insurance before i send off the v55? how does the bike get inspected nowadays as all local dvl a offices are closed down?
any help will be great

thanks mike

I done my last year, i never had any inspection from dvla its very rear for them to check ur bike over, as for the v55 ny mate done mine for me but im pretty sure he left alot of it blank becuase theres alot of info that you wont know but its second nature to them, u dont need insurance untill ur ready to ride it, also when u send of ur cheque with the v55 also add onto that cheque another fee i think £37 for 6 months on a 250 for road tax and right a seperate note explaining what the extra money is for if not sometimes its a pain in the ass to get tax when u first register it, also tax class is bicycle hope thos helps mate

Id just like to say that this thread was such a great help. I would imagine it would have taken a lot longer if I hadn't come across it.

I'm pleased to say I now have my Yz on the road. Happy days.
