I`ve reposted here so as everyone can see / comment...
just to gauge general interest in something like a camping week-end some where in the Peak District.. its pretty central to most people and there is plenty there ..

some time in late April .... 23rd - 24th 2016

Venue suggested is https://www.bulliththorn.com

so who is up for it ?

We'll be there, if we're back in the UK. Probbly not camping though cuz we live up the road.

And no, we haven't got enough spare rooms.

If I've got myself bike and licence sorted by then, I'd be up for it.

The engine on the R125 decided to, well, shit itself basically is the most accurate, if not technical way of putting it. Crying or Very sad

Both are about 10 minutes from me so don't think I'd be joining in the camping Razz

Talking of the miners standard was it you guys there about 5 or 6 years ago?
Can't even remember how we ended up there, I think it was one of the spur of the moment drive past and think hey could have a pint moments.

Ended up being a crazily brilliant night which we somehow managed to involve my brother in law wanting to sit on a guy dressed as woopy cushion, a big debate on who was the best man dressed as a woman and coining the phrase "I ain't chasing no Pikachu".
Loads of other wtf, but brilliant stuff.

Into the Valley? Didn't rate it much last year but I enjoyed the ride and location, giving it a look again as a few mates have suddenly decided to go.

Having camped at both I can say they are both good spots, I tend to prefer the miners standard but cant put my finger on why.

I suppose I best join the north section then, I didnt realise it came down this far Laughing

Cheers
