Suzuki doing a recall on GSX1250FA (2014)

Don't know what other years, if any, are involved. Had a letter through this morning telling me I'm impacted by a recall. Contamination causing wear on the cam apparently. Just thought I'd let people know.

Spoken to the dealer and booked in, so its definitely a thing. According to the guy, its actually incorrect valve clearance settings from the factory, so its a valve check, replace and adjust if needed. If cam borked, replace that as well.

Oddly, he mentioned that hes already done the same check on a couple of gladius's, no idea how that works as they don't use the 1250 engine as far as I know?

This is for most of them, bandits of most engine sizes, gladius and the sv, I'll have to have a look at the bulletin tomorrow if you're interested.

Bikes over a certain mileage (2000 rings a bell) are a check only and replace if out of spec, new bikes and bikes under that mileage are a replace whether in spec or not.
