Starting this early as Bradley Smith has been told he's too old (or not Spanish enough) for another Tech3 contract.

I've had an absolutely brilliant time with them but team boss Herve Poncharal has made it clear he will not be renewing next year, however well I do. Tech 3 is used by Yamaha to bring on young talent and I'm going to be 26 by the end of this season and much as I'd like to be, I'm no longer considered a fast young talent.

Unfair but I guess Yamaha want Rins signed up before Honda can tie him down.

Lorenzo mauled everyone at the recent Qatar test so I'd expect him to win fairly comfortably on Sunday, then it sounds like the Ducatis will be hard to beat.

He needs to move up to progress his career. Unfortunately if a factory ride doesn't open up then I can't see him getting anywhere near the sharp end again.

Lorenzo only dicked on 1 lap pace, his race simulation times were quick, but not half a second quicker than everyone else type quick.

Looking forward to Redding.

Seems a lot of the future changes hinge on Rossi and Lorenzo.

Pol has been disappointing so he's naffed up his chance of the Factory M1 and Bradley has been too little too late....and now too old.

If there is a consensus amongst the MotoGP journos it's 2016 looks to be closer than last year.

Really looking forward to this season. Lowes, Kent, Crutchlow, Redding and Smith are all there or thereabouts. The only back of he grid brit is Laverty, and he's hardly on a top spec machine.

I'm not sure it is too little to late for Brad myself, 2 Years after this season would bring him up to 29, far from beyond competitive - I'd think he really needs to pull something out of the bag this year though to have a shot, top six again at least.

I really want to see Vinales do well too, there's something about him I've always quite liked.

Disappointed at the lack of brits in moto3 mind.

I like Bradley, he comes across as a decent bloke you could have a laugh with and not full of himself like Crutchlow.

But I honestly cant see what the Moto gp bosses see in him, 3 wins in 125's, 3 podiums in Moto 2 and 2 podiums in Moto gp.
There are many riders out there with a much better record, and its not like he's beating his team mate every weekend either, if it wasnt for the fact he's a Brit most people on here would be wondering why and how he even got into moto gp.
After the 3 works teams Tech 3 is the next best team to be in, i cant understand why so many ex world champions and 125/250/moto3/moto2 winners cant even get into moto gp, when a bloke with 3 wins is in the 4th best team.

And while i'm ranting Pedrosa, on the same bike his team mates have won 4 world championships while he wins a race or 2 each season, how does he still keep his position?

Dani consistently makes the podium. Honda love winning the manufacturer's Championship.

His stats are impressive but he's had lots of bad luck and injuries.

FP1 for the motoGP bikes and Honda struggling.

A satellite bike hasn't won a gp for a decade, I don't think smith has done that bad really when you bear that in mind.
