I've only been a member for a few years so I certainly haven't seen the forum in all its stages of development, but it has become a lot more sensible in that short time.
It's still an entertaining place, but it's lost some of the openness it used to have. Yes, there was a point where many many many threads were nobcatted, and/or derailed by a rant about shekels or whatever it was Kraders was hating on at that time, but it did have a certain lack of decency that was a refreshing break from the banality of everyday life, and every other forum.
Just various people who liked and rode motorbikes dicking about on the internet.
I don't think the direction it was headed in was necessarily sustainable (not from Korns perspective), but there seemed to be a lot more threads that were genuinely hilarious and made me laugh.
Maybe it's just rose tinted specs.
