Hi guys,
I've got a Chinese monkeybike that I'm upgrading and need some assistance with.
I've got a new front end which includes new switch gear. The switch gears loom is different colours from the old loom and moves all of the controls to one side (light on off switch was separate before) and has a multi-pin with nine slots and earths separate (10 total) my old controls have 11 wires
Anyway The new switch gears new wiring loom:
Black - Power input +
Brown - Side Light
Yellow - Main Light feed in +
Yellow/White - High Beam
Pink - Low beam
Light Blue - Flasher L/H
Grey - Flasher feed in +
Orange - Flasher R/H
Light Green - Horn
Green - Ground
my bike has the same wiring as this: https://monkeyrun.co....s/M50wiring.gif
(Switch gear along the bottom of the page)
So I'm assuming my bikes loom wiring goes
Power input +. Brown and yellow
Side light. - brown / white
Main light feed in + - Brown
High beam - yellow
Low beam. - pink
Flasher left. - black
Flashed feed in. - light blue
Flasher right. - purple
Horn - green
Ground - green / yellow
Is this correct, should I connect both brown and yellow wire for the power input into one terminal?
Thanks for looking Josh |
