I've been looking recently at buying a wheelie simulator to be used to creat a second or even retirement income if it could earn enough. I have been in touch we a few show organisers and feed back seems favourable, but I'd need a good six months of weekend work to really make it pay, especially with the purchase price, is there enough demand out there. Proposed prices around £5 per go

I think you need to be a good salesman. I went on one at silverstone and for a large amount of time nobody was using it then a few used it and a que formed. It was a bit of a laugh if you don't take it too seriously.

I think his biggest problem was he didn't have the price on show so maybe people didn't want to ask the price thinking it would be too much.

One idea if I had one would be if nobody was using it then use it yourself or get the staff to use it or even give a random person a free go. It gets others wanting to use it.

How does the insurance work for these things? If somebody were to somehow fall off and get hurt I'd think you'd need some pretty decent (read: expensive) insurance.

Public liability insurance of £5000000, already thought of a few extra incentives, topless women free, wheelie duration without hitting upper or lower stop with cash prize, tee shirts, key rings, many other ideas brewing

Naaaa, just tell the judge they were pulling a wheelie and he'll throw the thing straight out of court.
