I need to replace my front suspension on my Seat Leon.

One guide says to use a 7mm Allen key and a socket, another to use just an impact gun.

What does BCF recommend?

Have you tried using a socket and allen key? I'd try that and if that doesn't work whap out the big guns.

I have done the front struts on a VW Golf successfully using a 7mm Allen and socket - Piece of piss in fact.

Do you have a windy gun ? If not 7mm Allen key has to be cheaper to get. (I had to buy one specially, is still looking forlorn in my tool chest as I don't think I;ve used it since).

I actually bought the Lidl impact wrench last night, just cos.

I'll try the 7mm way first, sure I have a 7mm from older cars.

Any tips on where to put axle stands on a Leon? Not looked under the car yet, waiting on the parts to arrive.
