Hi all,

My bandits collector box is knackered, so being looking at exhaust replacements, I'll need the full lot headers and all.

Looking at can and headers, but delkevic are the only ones that come complete.

Just wondered if any of you had any ideas on which to get, I just want a standard round really, bad dog don't look too bad, also looked at black widows.. Budget is 300 quid, cheaper if possible..

Thanks all Thumbs Up

Motad. I'm not sure if they have a forum presence here these days? Very good value stainless. I had a minor issue with the downpipe on the full system i had on the xv, new part sent out overnight after one quick and polite phone call whilst i was in the garage. Their customer service and warranty appears to be something they mean. Not too bling though. Phone and ask what they will do if not competitive with china.

black widow is i think a trading name of sandy bike spares in an effort to shrug of an unglamorous and slightly cheapnasty image.

I have sandy bike spares downpipes on the GSXR. They seem to be ok and no problems fitting.

If the collector box, is it just the short mild steel section rotted out? If so, you can get it fixed by having a stainless section put in either by a local welder or one of the Bandit specialists for a lot less than a new system.

Had these on the Fazer for a couple of years (16,000 miles) with no problems.

Cheers all,

I phoned around a couple of local welders, one guy said "oh yeah I know those I do a couple a year.. If you get the tube and clean up the pipes it'll be around 30 quid" Thumbs Up happy days, grinder out tomorrow. And colbolt drills for the snapped bolts (see workshop posts.. Shocked )

Cheers all, I can't justify 300 on a exhurst if I can get it fixed up, nice Thumbs Up
