''dying''

Is your motorcycle equipped with a rev counter and can you tell us the idle speed? Any hesitation when running?

Your apostrophe works but none of the rest of the punctuation buttons seem to. You can get a new keyboard from PC world for about £5.

HTH.

What did they do to it? Or more to the point, what do you know that they did to it, and what did they say that they did to it?

Did you get a multimeter, or check the battery cells like was suggested?

Not much to go on there. Did it die suddenly, or could you hear the engine labouring before it stopped?

Thanks for pointing out my error. I have acknowledged my mistake and have since corrected it, without bitching about dyslexia or some other supposed excuse for failure to learn my words at school.

it has been my experience of 125cc machines that they use spark plugs at a disproportionately high rate to large machines...

i would replace yours now from a reputable source ..
of a brand like NGK ...
not off fcukin evil bay either...
makin sure the gap is correct .. Thumbs Up
where & when did you last put petrol in ...
cos i would also be checkin for water contamination in the fuel...

Sorry about bad grammar pmsl was in a rush well I was waiting at the junction before going onto roundabout and the bike just suddenly cut off no sound just engine went straight off but restarted engine with the electric start and started straight back up again

To answer your question about the battery the mechanic said he replaced the battery for a new one

So you ragged it when you were still supposed to be running it in?

Copycat73 wrote:

Sod waiting for it to happen again, take it in now and say what happened. At least, when it happens a second time you can say 'this is the second time this has happened, you have no idea what caused it, I want money back'.

The worst that will happen is that they will ask you to explain it in recognisable sentences....
