Hi everyone. I bought a kawasaki eliminator bn125 a8 fro a guy in Wales. As a new rider I didn't know anything about bikes. On the ride home my ignition fell out as it wasn't fixed properly. I took it to Bristol Kawasaki and they said they wouldn't work on it because it was so bad. I didn't realise at he time but it's a Chinese engine called Kinroad. The wiring on the bike was a complete bodge. But mainly, can I put bigger engine I a 125 body?

Hello , I think if you dont know too much about bikes and to go ahead and put another engine in is looking for trouble , can you try and get this one fixed first , you will have to sort out the wiring to receive another engine anyway, and the experience of working with the bike will give you the confidence to try another engine, take a look at You Tube its been done with a 250ninja engine, have a go youve got nothing to lose Thumbs Up

Thanks, I will check it out. The wiring in the bike was all taped up. Nothing clipped or soldered properly. Not even sure the new loom I bough will fit. The engine seems okay but as just thinking of putting a bigger kawasaki engine in when I get my full licence. I'm going to try and fit the loom on Saturday. Hopefully it will go okay as its the wiring and the ignition that's stopping the bike from working.

I ordered a kawasaki eliminator bn125 a8 loom but as the engine is different, will it matter?
