Quite probably, but I doubt they will have access to the net to read this - well, not until tomorrow anyway Smile

Maurice arrived on Friday evening. We both went down the strip a couple of times on Saturday. We saw viper in the queue for the strip.

A more concise review of our outing will be posted once I'm more awake.

You lot are all completely slack! I cant believe it!!!
RULE NUMBER ONE.... never listen to weather men. They have to be pessimistic or they would get the sack all the time!

The outcome:

THURSDAY....
I went up Thursday ...left at 6:30pm...after a heavy rain storm.
On the way up there ONLY had 5mins of rain shower
Got there. Dry
Put tent up. Dry
Evening. Dry

FRIDAY....
Drag racing all day Friday. Dry
1hr of rain at 6pm after everyone had finished.
Evening. Dry

SATURDAY...
Sunny. All day. Dry!
Got sunburnt.
Evening. Dry

SUNDAY...
Dry! ...until 1pm and then a light shower.
Drag strip closed at that point anyway.

You all missed out big time!! Got 28runs in 3 days.

Improved my times on my 748 from last year too.
2003: 11.604
2004: 11.369 @122mph

Had a couple of runs on a friends 51-reg blade and got a 10.9
But seemed a tad wheelie happy, so thought i better give up, before i got more than i could handle!
Didnt like it anyway, the riding position seemed very tourer bike stylie in comparison to the beloved 748!

No interviews for men and motors this year. Phew! ...But oh no...it was worse!!... Naked TV...wtf!
On Friday and again Saturday i had these topless women interview me whilst stood waiting in the queue. Where was i supposed to look!! Another of these bints nearly got me on Sunday too, but i got on my bike and fled!

You see what you've missed! Rolling Eyes

As said above I went, nice hot weather and glad I did go Smile
I managed to improve on my time from last year, though I didn't get one run in where I felt everything went right Confused The RWYB was very busy on the Saturday.

While I was waiting in the queue a bloke said how well the bloke on the red 996 was going, he was fairly surprised when I told him it was a she on a 748 Laughing

I went, saw mainly the inside of the Custom Show marquee, all went well, came home again and now want to lie down in a darkened room for a week. Please.
