Hadn't been aware of 'Vertigo' before.
Turns out they're at least 'serious' as one of their prototype Trials bikes won the last Scottish Six days.
Owned by a rich Spanish business man (made money in baby seats etc), a weight of 65-62kg seems respectable with 31hp and they're at a 300cc 2 stroke rather the trend towards 4 strokes.

More interesting for the hipsters around is the 'Ursus', which is touted as that Trials/Scooter Urban Hybrid.
The latter does rather point to the hipster market; but a market with some money, of course.
Interesting because a claimed weight of 118kg along with that they're serious about competition bikes suggests it might be pretty reasonable off road. They suggest it may be used on the Urzber prologue, which typically sees high power dirt bikes competing, but has also featured an R1 with dirt tyres and so on. Capacity from 150cc up to a 600cc twin, all automatic we presume.
Could be an interesting as a 'RTW' bike too possibly.

That Ursus is one of the most well-put-together packages I've seen in a long time. That front fender/beak combo is a real nice touch, an interesting solution to the awkwardness of having both a beak and front fender on some of those big ADV bikes. ____________________ Motorsapien Art |
